Our Story
CatHugs was founded in Canada with a simple yet heartfelt idea: cats deserve products that genuinely make their lives easier, safer, and more comfortable. To bring this idea to life, we visited over a hundred pet stores and spoke with numerous cat owners to understand their real needs. We evaluated and compared many products on the market, identifying what was effective and what fell short.
From these insights, we set out to create products we ourselves wished existed and would use—safe, thoughtfully designed, and affordable everyday essentials that bring peace of mind and comfort to both cats and the families who care for them. From the very first product, our mission has been clear: to support every cat with care, comfort, and a touch of warmth, just like a gentle hug.
What We Do
At CatHugs, we develop practical, high-quality, and cost-effective products that address the everyday needs of cats and their families. Our main offerings include:
Tofu Cat Litter: Made from natural plant-based ingredients, it clumps quickly, produces minimal dust, and is gentle on cats. It is also flushable, making cleaning fast, convenient, and environmentally friendly.
Sisal Cat Scratching Mat: Crafted from durable natural sisal, they satisfy cats’ scratching instincts, protect furniture, and support healthy activity. Designed with aesthetics in mind, they can also serve as decorative elements in your home.
